Water in car :( help

Water in car :( help

hi guys
have a civic 03' now the problem is that some water seeps into the car near the accelerator pedal , its not a lot of water but its wets the carpet and the outside of the footmats and it smells too coz of the wet carpet . its probably cuming from the fender area maybe some rubbers are misiing or sumthing i checked the passenger side its ok there no water there....plz advise wats the reason and what shud i do....

i had a similar problem in my Alto,VXR and after much thought i found out that the water was seeping through the A/C outlet that use to shed water droplets and outlet hose was somehow pressed inside the cabin:

just have a look if thats the case with ur ride, the hose would be visible from under the hood, switch on the A/C and see where the droplets are going... as a quick fix pull it out towards the engine u may use a rubber sleeve/tube to extend its length...
