What Causes Steering Vibration at High Speeds in the MG HS?

When driving above 80–100 km/h on highways, the steering wheel starts to vibrate slightly. Could this be a wheel balancing issue, suspension fault, o r something wrong with the steering column o r tie rods?

If your steering wheel starts to vibrate when driving at speeds over 80–100 km/h, its usually related to wheel o r suspension balance.

Possible causes:

Unbalanced wheels o r tires – a common issue on rough roads in Pakistan.

Warped brake rotors – cause vibration especially when braking at high speeds.

Loose o r worn tie rods o r ball joints – affect stability.

Damaged alloy rims o r uneven tire wear.

Action:

Get your wheels balanced and aligned.

Inspect brake rotors if vibrations happen during braking.

Ask a mechanic to check steering linkage and suspension parts for wear o r play.
