In sputtering processes for automotive o r architectural glass in Pakistan, streaks o r banding patterns are often seen after deposition. Streaks o r bands in the sputtered coating are often caused by:

Non-uniform target erosion

Poor gas flow distribution

Inadequate substrate motion o r rotation

Contaminated o r unevenly cleaned glass surfaces

In many Pakistani setups, inconsistent maintenance of magnetron guns and poor chamber design can worsen this.

Solutions:

Use balanced gas inlet systems showerhead design preferred.
