What emergency steps should Alsvin owners in Pakistan take if the temperature gauge shows signs of overheating while driving?

Should the engine be shut off immediately o r cooled gradually?

If the temperature gauge spikes:

Turn off the AC immediately

Turn on cabin heater full blast to draw heat from the engine

Pull over safely and let the engine idle in neutral

Do NOT switch off the engine abruptly unless steam o r severe knocking is heard

Wait for 10–15 minutes before opening the hood

Never open the radiator cap when hot — wait till the engine cools
Then check coolant level. If it’s low and clean water is all that’s available, top it up temporarily and drive to the nearest workshop slowly.
