1. What does 'PS' stands for when we mention the power of engine?Is it pound-second or what?

Common Rail is the latest in diesel engine fuel systems. instead of the fuel pump sending fuel to the cylinders via seperate pipes, one fuel rail is used, which sends fuel to all cylinders, at EXTREMELY high pressure. the result is smoother acceleration and lower NVH.
