In many Pakistani households, parents are cautious about letting their children use smartphones, social media, o r messaging apps, fearing exposure to inappropriate content o r distractions from studies. While this concern is valid, excessive restriction can negatively affect students development. Without access to digital communication tools, students are often left out of group discussions, school updates, and online collaboration. This is especially true for girls, who may face even stricter rules. As a result, their communication skills lag behind, and they feel socially disconnected from peers, leading to a sense of isolation.
