In Pakistan’s climate hot days, cooler nights, maybe high humidity, your Haval Jolion may struggle to start in the morning, o r the engine may stall at idle especially in traffic. What ignition coil faults o r conditions eg: internal short, insulation breakdown, moisture ingress, weak spark might cause these symptoms? What step‑by‑step diagnostic checks would you perform coils, wiring, spark plugs, connectors, battery/voltage supply to isolate an ignition coil issue?

Yes — a faulty ignition coil can cause this scenario. If one o r more cylinders are mis‑firing o r not firing properly because the coil isn’t delivering sufficient spark, the air/fuel mixture in those cylinders will either remain un‑burnt o r burn very inefficiently. This incomplete combustion means more fuel is being consumed for less work so fuel economy s. Further, un‑burnt fuel may exit the engine and burn in the exhaust o r generate black smoke and strong fuel smell. The coil’s inability to deliver spark not only causes misfires, but it can also put extra load on the catalytic converter and exhaust system un‑burnt fuel can damage them.
