Which Cars are better with Non ABS Brakes

Which Cars are better with Non ABS Brakes

Guys,

As most of running Cars on Pakistani roads are without ABS So what is ur opinion/experience of braking on cars having Front wheel Drive & Rear Wheel Drive without ABS. As per my observation FWD cars have better braking with out ABS as compare to RWD cars with out ABS.
The reason is, as usaul practice good driver doesnt apply brakes with clutch pedal pressed this practice will reduces the locking of driving wheels. In case of FWD the driving wheels are on front & almost 70% of braking resistnce/friction is also provided by front wheels so the braking with engaged clutch will reduce the sudden locking of front wheel while in case of RWD the driving wheels are on rear & braking with engage clutch will only reduce the locking effect of rear wheels but in that case front wheels which are supposed to be provide actual braking friction may lock easily. I have observe this thing in RWD Toyota Starlet during test drive at speed of 80Km/H i have applied sudden brakes & cars front wheels got stuck.

Need ur comments......

the only non ABS RWD vehicle i've driven is a hilux 2x4 and due to its weight it has very bad braking. I've generally found that modern FWD cars are setup to be safe and preditable so most likely FWD small cars are probably going ot have better braking (without ABS) when compared to most RWD (which are usually heavier)
