Which CNG injection technique is better?

In Santros I have seen two types of cng injection techniques.

1) CNG injection in air filter box

2) CNG injection in throttle body using a venturi

Which technique is better? (considering fuel economy, car's pick and speed and most of all the chronic backfire issue in Santro)
