Why do my Oshan X7’s power windows get stuck o r slow in operation?

The front drivers side window in my Changan Oshan X7 often gets stuck halfway o r moves up very slowly. Sometimes I have to press the switch multiple times to get it fully closed. The rear windows are a bit slow too. Is this a wiring issue, motor fault, o r a lubrication problem? Im based in Lahore — could dust and weather be a factor?

This is a fairly common issue reported by Oshan X7 users, especially in dusty environments like Lahore, Karachi, o r interior Punjab.

Possible causes:

Dust and debris inside the window channels can cause resistance, slowing the glass movement.

Weak window motor performance is sometimes seen in locally assembled vehicles.

Lack of lubrication in the window tracks o r regulator mechanism.

Voltage s common in hot weather o r when other accessories are on can also slow motor performance.

Solution:

Ask your mechanic o r dealership to clean and grease the window channels.

If the issue persists, have the window motor tested.

Avoid overusing windows with the engine off, as weak battery voltage can impact window speed.
