Why does my Changan Oshan X7 engine feel underpowered o r laggy during acceleration?

While driving in city traffic, especially with the AC on, my Oshan X7 sometimes feels sluggish o r slow to respond when I press the accelerator. Is this a common turbo lag issue, o r could it be related to engine tuning o r fuel quality in Pakistan?

This is likely due to turbo lag, which is common in many small turbo engines. It can be more noticeable in:

City driving with stop-and-go traffic.

Low RPMs, especially with the AC on.

Regular petrol usage low RON fuel can reduce engine performance.

Solutions and tips:

Try switching to high-octane fuel occasionally to clean the system and improve throttle response.

Keep the air filter clean and ensure the throttle body is not carbon-clogged.

Avoid harsh acceleration instead, gradually build RPMs to activate the turbo efficiently.
