After locking my MG HS using the key fob o r the door switch, it sometimes unlocks itself after a few seconds. This doesn’t happen all the time, but it’s happened multiple times now. Is this a sensor issue o r something more serious? Anyone else in Pakistan faced this problem?

This can be a safety feature reacting to a fault o r a malfunctioning door sensor. In many MG HS vehicles, if any door, trunk, o r bonnet is not properly closed, the car will unlock itself after attempting to lock:
A door latch o r sensor may be misaligned, causing the system to think a door is open.
The boot lid sensor is often the culprit — it may think the boot is open even when it’s closed.
Sometimes, a software bug in the Body Control Module BCM causes this behavior.
What you can do:
Double-check that all doors and the boot are fully closed before locking.
Clean the door and boot sensors.
Ask the MG service center to scan the BCM for sensor errors and update the firmware if needed.
