Why Does My MG HS Pull to One Side Even Though Steering Is Centered?

Why Does My MG HS Pull to One Side Even Though Steering Is Centered?

My MG HS drifts slightly to the right or left even when I’m holding the steering wheel straight. This makes it tiring to drive on highways o r long straight roads. What could be causing this pull—bad alignment, uneven tyre pressure, tyre wear, wheel bearing issues, o r even suspension/steering component faults?

Answer:
The MG HS 1.5 T engine typically requires around 4.5 to 5.0 litres of engine oil, including the oil filter, as per standard specifications though PakWheels does not list oil capacity, most 1.5 L turbo engines fall in this range. Overfilling during service can lead to:

Oil foaming, which reduces lubrication

Smoke at startup due to excess oil entering combustion areas

Engine hesitation and performance issues

Action: Always request confirmation of the oil level after servicing. If the car smokes on startup o r you feel sluggish performance, ask the technician to check and release excess oil carefully.
