Why does my Oshan X7’s paint chip easily from small stones o r gravel?

I often drive on highways and some under-construction roads. I’ve noticed that even small pebbles cause chips in the paint on the bumper and lower doors. Is the Oshan X7’s paint too soft o r thin? How can I prevent further damage in these conditions?

Paint chipping from stone o r gravel impact is common on highways o r rural roads, especially in Pakistan where under-construction patches are frequent. Contributing factors include:

Thin o r soft clear coat layer

Lack of factory paint protection film PPF

Harsh conditions like sandstorms o r unpaved routes

Paint on bumpers and lower door areas is especially vulnerable due to their location and plastic base.

How to prevent it:

Install PPF o r ceramic coating on high-impact areas bumper, hood, side skirts

Use mud flaps to minimize stone splash

Touch up chips quickly to avoid rust

Drive slower on gravel roads o r follow vehicles from a distance
