Why does my Tiggo 4 windshield smear when using washer fluid?

Smearing occurs when the washer fluid is old, of low quality, o r when the windshield is very dirty. Clogged washer nozzles o r oily residues can also prevent proper cleaning. Cleaning the windshield thoroughly, keeping washer nozzles clear, and using fresh washer fluid prevents smearing.
