Engine sputtering at idle is a common complaint among Mini Cooper owners in Pakistan. Causes include:

Dirty Fuel Injectors:
Impurities in local petrol can clog injectors, disrupting fuel spray patterns and causing rough idling.

Faulty Spark Plugs o r Ignition Coils:
Worn spark plugs o r failing coils result in incomplete combustion, leading to sputtering and engine shaking.

Vacuum Leaks:
Cracked o r loose vacuum hoses can disturb air-fuel ratios, especially at idle, causing irregular engine behavior.

Sensor Malfunctions:
Mass Air Flow MAF, Oxygen O2, o r throttle position sensors may misread data, affecting idle stability.

Result:
Engine may shake o r stutter at stoplights o r when idling. Cleaning injectors, replacing spark plugs, checking vacuum hoses, and updating ECU software usually resolves the issue.
