Why does the panoramic sunroof cause excess heat and glare in MG HS?

The panoramic sunroof is a great feature in the MG HS, but in cities like Karachi and Lahore where the sun is intense, it feels like it lets in too much heat and sunlight, even when the shade is closed. The cabin becomes hotter, and glare is uncomfortable during noon hours. Is this a common problem? Have any Pakistani users installed sunshades o r tints that help reduce this effect?

The large panoramic sunroof in the MG HS is a luxury feature, but in Pakistans climate, it often becomes a source of excess cabin heat and sunlight glare, especially when:

The built-in sunshade is thin and doesn’t fully block UV rays.

You park the car in open sun for hours.

Youre driving during peak heat hours 11 am to 3 pm.

Solutions:

Apply sunshade o r reflective tint film specifically designed for panoramic glass.

Use custom-made internal mesh sunshades available at car accessories shops.

Park in shaded areas o r use windshield and roof sunshades when parked.

Use ceramic tinting on side and rear windows to reduce overall cabin temperature.
