Why does the steering of my Changan Oshan X7 feel unusually stiff at low speeds?

I’ve noticed that the steering of my Oshan X7 feels harder to turn when driving slowly o r parking, especially in hot weather. Is this normal, o r could it be an issue with the electric power steering EPS system?
