Why EFI?
Why EFI?
I am a fan of this website, although this is my first post. When buying my car, I read extensively through all the posts, and it made me find out in detail all the good and bad things about the cars which I had shortlisted... Thank you everyone.
When I was shopping around to buy my car a couple of months back, Suzuki Cultus EFI was launched (of course with about an increase of Rs. 50,000 in its price). Every showroom wala, sang praises about the revolution that was about to come with the increased mileage per liter, but I had a nagging question! maybe you people can guide me...
Why on earth would I need an EFI engine, if I plan to run solely on Gas? EFI will give increased mileage on petrol engine, but mileage will be the same a non-EFI if we run on CNG. I fail to understand why I should pay Rs. 50,000 more and get a EFI car and subsequently run it on CNG?
EFI will be advantageous if you use petrol only. So maybe Suzuki should offer non-EFI engine with CNG installed, and EFI engine without CNG... I think it would save about Rs. 50,000 for us customers... What do you think?

EFi on CNG will be better compared to a carby because carby has some pick up problem on CNG and its tuning is not very accurate and the carby DOES NOT have same performance compared to EFi, cultus carby on CNG is not a good car, but i dont know about cultus EFi on CNG.i prefer u buy the EFi. believe me it will give u performance as well as economy.
