Why is my United Bravo giving very poor mileage in city driving?

I own a 2021 United Bravo and recently noticed that my car’s fuel average has ped to around 8–9 km/l in city traffic, even though I drive with a light foot and keep tire pressure maintained. I’ve also done regular oil changes using 10W-40 oil. What could be the possible causes of this poor fuel economy? Could it be due to the carburetor settings, weak plugs, o r maybe the low-quality local fuel? Any recommendations from Bravo owners who faced similar issues?

10W-40 oil is fine, but in cooler months o r city use, switching to 10W-30 might slightly improve efficiency. Keep tyres inflated to around 30–32 psi.

Fuel Quality:
Low-grade fuel is common in Pakistan, especially outside big cities. Try refueling from a reputable PSO, Shell, o r Total pump. Sometimes even one bad tank can ruin your mileage.

Driving Habits:
The Bravo is underpowered, so aggressive acceleration o r heavy A/C use drastically reduces fuel economy. Drive smoothly and avoid unnecessary revving.

With these checks, most Bravo owners report mileage improving to around 12–14 km/l in city and up to 16–17 km/l on highway.
