Why is red o r brown fluid leaking under my Hyundai Oshan X7?

After parking my Oshan X7, I noticed small red o r dark brown fluid spots underneath the vehicle. The leak seems to come from the center o r slightly towards the front. Could this be a transmission fluid leak? How can I confirm its not engine oil o r coolant, and what part of the transmission might be leaking?
