Why is the paint on my Kia Sorento chipping off near the wheel arches and door sills?

I have a 2022 Kia Sorento local Pakistani variant and recently noticed that the paint is chipping off near the wheel arches and lower door sills. I mostly drive within the city and avoid rough roads, so I’m surprised this is happening. It started with small chips that have now grown larger, and some areas even show signs of rust. Is this a common problem with the Sorento in Pakistan? Is it due to weak paint quality o r something else?
