Why is there a squeaking o r grinding noise when I use my Oshan X7’s power windows

When I roll the windows up o r down, especially on the rear doors, there’s a squeaking o r grinding noise. It sounds like something is rubbing inside the door panel. The operation still works, but the sound is annoying. Is this a common issue in Pakistani models? Could it be due to lack of lubrication o r poor fitting?

This is a very common mechanical issue, especially in vehicles exposed to dust, heat, and rain — which is typical in many parts of Pakistan.

Probable causes:

Dry o r unlubricated window rails o r guides.

Dust, sand, o r small debris trapped in the rubber channels.

Poor factory fitment o r alignment of window components.

Solution:

Ask your mechanic to open the door panel and lubricate the rails with silicone spray o r lithium grease.

Inspect and clean the rubber channels.

If the noise is persistent, have the window regulator and motor gears checked.
