AOA Mr. GLI. You seem to be a car engineer having sound knowledge of Chevy Exclusive engine. I own a Chevy Excl. Two things I want to ask from you. 1) You once wrote in a forum that "just check the sensors of engine and start your ride".I want to know where are these sensors located and how can I check them? 2) I wanted to paste Air Press (the shades pasted on the upper bar of door to avoid sunlight intensity). I went to Montgomry road lahore and there i found a shop and that man said that chevy's dye hasn't been prepared yet thats why no air press can be fit onto your car but i've seen some chevys on road and some on pakwheels bearing air press. Can you plz tell me from where can i get those? I hope you'd help me out.

The Following Sensors are installed in your car
at different locations
1) Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
====================================
The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor is a
thermistor (a resistor which changes value based on
temperature) mounted in the engine coolant stream.
2) Throttle Position Sensor
===========================
The Throttle Position (TP) sensor is a potentiometer
connected to the throttle shaft of the throttle body.
3) Catalyst Monitor Oxygen Sensors
==================================
Two i.e oxygen sensor (O2S) and heated oxygen sensor
(HO2S).Installed in Exhaust System
4) Intake Air Temp Sensor
=========================
The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is a thermistor,
a resistor which changes value based on the temperature
of the air entering the engine.
5) Manifold Air Pressure Sensor
================================
The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor measures
the changes in the intake manifold pressure which
result from engine load and speed changes and converts
these to a voltage output.
6) Crankshaft Position Sensor
7) Camshaft Position Sensor
(INSIDE THE ENGINE)
8) KNOCK SENSOR
The knock sensor detects abnormal knocking in the engine.
The sensor is mounted in the engine block near the
cylinders.
========================================
YOUR ORANGE ENGINE LIGHT BLINKS OR REMAIN ON
IF THERE IS SOME FALUT IN THE SENSORS
UNFORTUNATELY , YOU NEED A SCANTOOL TO DO THIS
THAT IS AVAILABLE IN CHEVY WORKSHOPS
IF YOUR ORANGE LIGHT IS NORMAL
SENSORS ARE OK
