Xli brake upgrade...

salamz all...
guys one of my frnd bought an xli few months ago.nd hez fed up of the brakes frm the very 1st day.(yes tyres r changed to dunlop 195/--/R14).he was asking me that can he put abs in it?i was not sure so we paid a visit to dealer nd they said they dnt even hav a hint of it.

so,the abs plan went unsuccessful,now,i was thinking ,can he improve the brakes by upgrading the brakes to the drilled ones or sum bigger disc or wat ever.i dnt know alot abt those discs so i just wanted to collect sum info that wat type of brake updates shud b made to the car....1st thing is that,is it possible ? if yes,which brakes to put.where to get them,wat shud b the approx. price,how wud it effect the stopping of the car.wud it prevent the sudden jamming of the wheels?
