. Haval H6 body panels dent easily — is the metal too thin?

I recently noticed that my 2023 Haval H6’s doors and fenders dent very easily — even a light tap from another car door in a parking lot left a visible mark. Compared to my previous Honda Civic, the body feels softer and more flexible. Has anyone else experienced this? Is Haval using thinner sheet metal, o r is it just how new cars are built nowadays? What’s the best way to repair these small dents without repainting?

Yes, many Haval H6 owners have reported that the body panels, particularly doors and fenders, are more susceptible to dents compared to other vehicles. This is due to the thinner sheet metal used in the construction of the H6.

Repair Options:

Paintless Dent Repair PDR: For minor dents without paint damage, PDR is an effective method. It involves massaging the dent from behind the panel to restore its original shape.

Traditional Dent Repair: If the paint is damaged, the affected area may need to be sanded, filled, and repainted.

Preventive Measures:

Parking: Always park in designated areas to avoid accidental bumps.

Protective Accessories: Consider installing door edge guards o r side mouldings to absorb impacts.
