2004 Toyota Prado TX A/C issue

I own a 3400cc Toyota Prado TX. I am facing an AC issue in my car. The cooling is good when I turn on the compressor. Before reaching the cabin temperature it seems to be tripped. Also there is a delay between when the compressor is turned off o r turned on hence uncooled air starts coming from the vent. Kindly suggest me a solution. TI will be very thankful to you for this.

Yes.Most probably low gas
