Are crankshaft o r camshaft position sensor failures common in Changan Kalam, especially in Pakistani weather o r traffic conditions?

Yes, increasing cases are being reported.

Frequent hot-cold engine cycles, especially in stop-and-go city traffic, cause:

Heat stress on sensor housing

Wiring insulation cracks

Cam/crank sensors are sensitive to voltage s and can also be affected by oil leaks.
