Yes. Mileage s by 20–30% under full load.

Example:

Unloaded fuel average: ~14–15 km/l petrol

Fully loaded average: ~9–11 km/l

In city stop-and-go: can fall below 9 km/l

Reasons:

The engine runs at higher RPM to maintain torque

More frequent gear shifting

Extra drag and resistance on suspension and tires

This is expected to an extent, but the is more severe due to limited engine reserves and underpowered components.
