Are Pakistani drivers using the correct engine oil grade in Changan Kalam for optimal mileage?

Using thick o r non-recommended oil could strain the engine. Is this a common issue at local service stations?

Often not.

Using:

Too thick oil e.g., 20W-50 leads to higher resistance during startup and running

Cheap o r recycled oil reduces lubrication efficiency

Changan usually recommends 5W-30 o r 10W-30 — but many workshops use what’s available o r cheapest. This increases fuel use and engine strain.
