Excessive braking and contamination can reduce pad life. Is environmental stress reducing durability of braking systems?

Absolutely. Dust, mud, and potholes increase the strain on suspension and brake systems. Dust and debris can contaminate the brake components, causing faster abrasion of the pads. On uneven terrain, drivers brake more often, which adds to wear and tear. These conditions significantly reduce the life of brake pads.
