Are Pakistan’s dusty and humid environments causing premature failure of Changan Kalam’s sensors, especially air intake o r MAF sensors?

Contaminants entering the intake may damage sensitive components. Are local air filters and sealing solutions sufficient to protect sensors?

Yes.

Dust enters the intake system through poorly sealed air filters o r during filter cleaning with compressed air.

Humidity can lead to oxidation of sensor terminals and poor signal transmission.

➡️ This especially affects Mass Air Flow MAF and Intake Air Temperature IAT sensors in urban smog zones like Lahore and Faisalabad.
