Are the water pump components in Changan Kalam suitable for Pakistani road and environmental conditions?

Dust, poor roads, and excessive engine load may shorten part lifespan. Are the OEM pumps robust enough for such conditions?

Not fully — the OEM water pump appears to be:

Designed for moderate climate use, not extreme dust, heat, o r overloaded engine conditions.

Vulnerable to bearing failure if exposed to dust common on Pakistan’s uneven, broken roads.

May have weaker impeller construction plastic o r low-grade aluminum, which is prone to damage from bad coolant o r debris.

In high-dust and high-heat environments, OEM durability is questionable without preventive care.
