Are there any common engine-related faults o r warning lights in the Kia Stonic in local conditions?

I’m planning to buy a Kia Stonic and want to know if there are any recurring engine-related issues reported by owners in Pakistan. Have you faced any unexpected engine warning lights, overheating, oil leaks, o r rough idling? How reliable is the engine in daily use, especially considering Pakistan’s fuel quality and climate conditions?

From what I found, there are only a few reports of engine‑related alerts o r strange faults, but nothing that seems to be massively widespread yet in Pakistan. Some specific things owners have reported:

Occasionally fuel knock o r abnormal noises during abrupt acceleration o r at higher speeds, which may relate to fuel quality o r ignition timing.

Delay o r roughness in acceleration right after cold start o r after the car has been idle. Once the engine warms up and driving continues, things often smoothen out.

Some users wonder about a slight shift delay o r jerk between gears e.g. 1st to 2nd, but many others say they do not feel any such problem in their cars.

But no consistent reports of serious engine faults like overheating, constant warning lights for major engine issues, o r catastrophic failures in Pakistan. The feedback suggests that as long as regular maintenance is done, and good fuel is used, engine performance is relatively reliable
