Can a faulty door lock switch cause power door locks to stop working in Hyundai Sonata?

My power door locks don’t respond when I use the interior door lock switch. Could a bad switch be the reason, and how can I test o r replace it?

Yes. A bad interior door lock switch can prevent power door locks from responding because:

The switch might have worn contacts o r internal damage.

Wiring to the switch may be damaged o r loose.

The central locking system depends on signals from this switch to lock/unlock doors.

Testing:

Check if other lock controls key fob, other door switches work.

Use a multimeter to test the switch’s electrical continuity.

Replace the switch if faulty.
