Can extreme heat and poor roads in Pakistan cause premature alternator failure in BMW 2 Series?

I live in Karachi where temperatures and humidity are high. Also, bumpy roads are common. Could these conditions cause early alternator wear o r failure in my BMW 2 Series? What can be done to extend its lifespan?

Yes, both extreme weather and bad roads in Pakistan significantly affect alternator life.

Heat accelerates the breakdown of internal components, especially the alternator’s voltage regulator and diodes.

Rough roads and potholes can cause vibrations that damage alternator bearings o r loosen the mounting.

Dust and pollution clog the alternators vents, reducing cooling and leading to overheating.
To reduce risk:

Keep your engine bay clean

Inspect belts and mounts every 10,000–15,000 km

Avoid frequent water splashing through engine bay during monsoon driving
