Can I use radiator sealant for a minor leak in my BMW 2 Series in Pakistan, o r will it cause long-term damage?

A mechanic suggested using a sealant for a small radiator leak in my BMW 218i. Is this a safe temporary fix in Pakistan’s hot weather, o r can it clog the cooling system and cause more harm?

Radiator sealants are a temporary solution only. While they may stop small leaks, they can:

Clog small passages in the radiator o r heater core.

Reduce the efficiency of the cooling system over time.

Void warranty o r worsen internal damage if misused.

In Pakistan’s high temperatures, sealants may degrade faster o r form blockages.

Use only if youre stranded and need an emergency fix. Long-term, get the radiator professionally repaired o r replaced.
