Check Engine Light with cylinder misfire code P0303 — ignition coil issue?

My OBD scanner shows code P0303 misfire in cylinder 3 on my Haval H6. The car shakes slightly and loses power under load. The mechanic thinks it’s a faulty ignition coil but says these parts are expensive and not easily available in Pakistan. Should I replace only the bad coil, o r is it safer to replace all four at once?

A P0303 means the engine is misfiring in cylinder 3, and in the Haval H6, that’s most commonly due to a faulty ignition coil o r spark plug.

Step-by-step solution:

Swap coils: Move the coil from cylinder 3 to another cylinder.

If the code changes e.g., from P0303 to P0302, the coil is bad.

Inspect spark plug: If the plug looks black, oily, o r worn, replace it too.

Clear the code and test again.

Replacement advice:
You don’t need to replace all coils unless multiple are failing. Replace the faulty one with an OEM part. Haval service centers can order genuine coils, but you can also find compatible ones through reputable local suppliers o r online marketplaces Daraz, PakWheels Store.

Preventive tip:
Use good-quality petrol and change spark plugs on time every 20,000–25,000 km. Also avoid running the car with a misfire for too long — it can damage the catalytic converter.
