Could poor road conditions in Pakistan cause transmission fluid leaks in BMW 2 Series?

After hitting a pothole in Karachi, I noticed a small transmission leak on my 2017 218i. Could rough roads damage the transmission pan o r lines? Should I get the undercarriage inspected?

Yes. Potholes, speed bumps, and unpaved roads can:

Crack the transmission pan

Damage the fluid cooling lines

Loosen pan bolts o r mounts

This is particularly true if the underbody cover belly pan is missing o r damaged. If you suspect an impact, get the undercarriage inspected immediately to prevent further leakage.
