JAC T6 users often get 8–10 km/l in city, lower than expected for a 2.0L turbo diesel. This happens due to:

Heavy vehicle weight, which naturally increases fuel consumption.

Frequent braking and idling in cities like Lahore and Karachi.

Turbo-lag driving, causing frequent gear changes and higher RPM use.

Under-inflated tyres o r aggressive driving habits.

Ways to improve fuel average:

Maintain tyre pressure at recommended levels usually around 32–35 PSI.

Avoid rapid acceleration drive smoothly.

Use good-quality engine oil, typically synthetic o r semi-synthetic.

Clean the EGR valve periodically, as carbon buildup reduces mileage.

Service injectors if the vehicle has crossed 50,000–70,000 km.
