Why do JAC T6 owners in Pakistan experience weak AC cooling performance?

Many JAC T6 users have reported that the air conditioning system does not cool effectively, especially during peak summer temperatures in Pakistan. What causes the AC to lose performance—compressor design, poor airflow, weak refrigerant pressure, o r cabin insulation issues? Are there any solutions o r maintenance steps that can improve AC cooling during hot weather?

Weak AC cooling is a common complaint among JAC T6 owners, especially in hot cities like Karachi, Multan, and Lahore. The main causes include:

Common Causes

Undersized AC Compressor:
The compressor used in the JAC T6 is often not powerful enough for Pakistan’s extreme summer temperatures 40°C+, especially in a large cabin-sized pickup.

Poor Cabin Insulation:
The vehicle’s insulation is not as strong as Japanese models, causing outside heat to enter quickly and reducing cooling efficiency.

Weak Blower Performance:
Some owners report that the blower doesnt push strong airflow, making the cooling feel slow.

Low Refrigerant o r Minor Leaks:
Low-quality AC lines o r seals sometimes develop small leaks, reducing the gas level and cooling power.

Dirty AC Filters & Evaporator:
Dusty conditions in Pakistan quickly clog cabin filters and evaporators, lowering cooling efficiency.

Idle Cooling Issues:
Cooling becomes weak when the vehicle is idle because the compressor struggles at low RPM.

Possible Solutions

Regularly replace cabin/AC filters

Clean the evaporator and service the AC before summer

Use high-quality refrigerant and check for leaks

Install a better-quality blower motor o r enhance airflow if available aftermarket

Avoid prolonged idling and keep the cabin shaded whenever possible

These improvements make the AC noticeably better but still may not match the performance of Japanese pickups in extreme heat.
