Has Changan Kalam shown a trend of axle seal leaks, especially near the CV joints, that result in slow transmission fluid loss in Pakistani roads?

Greasy residue around the axle housing is commonly observed. Is there a design o r alignment issue causing this?

✅ Yes — slow transmission fluid leaks near the axles are common.

Symptoms: Greasy buildup o r wetness near the inner CV joints

Cause:

Misalignment between transmission output shaft and axle

Poor-quality axle seals

Frequent suspension travel o r bad road conditions

🛠️ Solution: Periodic inspection of axle housing and replacement of both CV boots and seals every 30,000–40,000 km is recommended.
