Hat causes the power door locks on my Mercedes E-Class to lock/unlock randomly o r on their own?

My Mercedes-Benz E-Class power door locks sometimes lock o r unlock by themselves without me pressing any button. This usually happens when the car is parked and locked. Is this a common electrical glitch o r a problem with the door lock actuator? Could local factors like humidity o r wiring issues in Pakistan be responsible?

Random locking/unlocking can be due to:

Electrical glitches: Faulty wiring, shorts, o r grounding issues in the door lock circuit may cause erratic behavior.

Faulty door lock actuator: A malfunctioning actuator can send false signals, triggering unintended lock/unlock actions.

Moisture o r humidity: Pakistan’s humid climate can cause corrosion o r short circuits in wiring o r control modules.

Aftermarket alarm o r remote systems: Poorly installed o r incompatible aftermarket devices can interfere with the locking system.

Software glitches: Sometimes the vehicle’s body control module BCM requires a software update o r reset.
