Haval H6 Radar Sensor Malfunction – ADAS Features Not Working
Recently, my Haval H6 started showing “Front Radar Sensor Malfunction” on the dashboard. Because of this, the adaptive cruise control and front collision warning systems stopped working. The issue appears randomly — sometimes after rain o r heavy dust. Could this be a calibration issue, o r does the radar sensor need replacement? Any recommended service centers in Lahore o r Karachi that can fix this?

Gari Master - on 30 Oct 2025 14:10:10 pmThis issue often appears due to dust, moisture, o r misalignment in the front radar sensor located behind the Haval badge on the grille. In Pakistan, rainwater o r high-pressure washing can cause the radar sensor to lose calibration. When that happens, you’ll see “Radar Sensor Malfunction” and lose access to Adaptive Cruise Control and Forward Collision Warning.
Fix and recommendations:
Check the front grille area for dirt, mud, o r water marks. Gently clean it using a microfiber cloth — don’t spray water directly.
If the problem occurs after rain, let the sensor dry completely.
Sometimes the radar needs software recalibration — this can only be done at an authorized Haval service center using factory diagnostic tools.
In cities like Lahore, Karachi, o r Islamabad, authorized Haval workshops can recalibrate it for around Rs. 5,000–8,000.
If the sensor itself is damaged, a new one can cost around Rs. 60,000–100,000 depending on model year.
