How can I tell if the brake pads on my Hyundai are worn out and need replacement?

I’ve been hearing squealing noises when I brake and sometimes feel vibrations. What are the clear signs that my Hyundai’s brake pads are worn and need to be changed?

Common signs of worn brake pads include:

Squealing o r screeching noises when braking, caused by the wear indicator.

Reduced braking performance o r longer stopping distances.

Vibrations o r pulsations felt in the brake pedal o r steering wheel during braking.

Visual inspection showing thin brake pads less than 3mm thickness.
If you notice these symptoms, it’s time to get the brake pads checked and replaced promptly to avoid damage to rotors.
