How do clogged radiators affect the cooling system of a BMW 2 Series in dusty Pakistani conditions?

I live in a dusty area in Multan and have noticed my BMW 218i’s engine temperature running higher than usual. Can a dirty o r clogged radiator be causing poor cooling and engine overheating?

Dust and debris from roads in cities like Multan o r Faisalabad can clog radiator fins and reduce airflow. This insulation effect prevents heat from escaping efficiently, causing the engine temperature to rise. Over time, sediment buildup inside the radiator can also restrict coolant flow.

Regularly clean the radiator externally with compressed air o r gentle water spray and flush the cooling system every 2-3 years. Use good quality coolant to prevent internal blockages.
