How do Pakistan’s driving conditions affect spark plug life in the Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

Considering the frequent traffic jams, dusty environment, and inconsistent fuel quality in Pakistan, how do these conditions affect the lifespan and performance of spark plugs in the E-Class? Should I replace them earlier than the manufacturer’s recommendation?

Pakistan’s road and environmental conditions can cause spark plugs to wear out faster than in ideal conditions. Heres how:

Dusty Air: Dust and debris entering through a weak air filter can lead to fouling of the spark plugs.

Poor Fuel Quality: Low-octane o r adulterated fuel can cause incomplete combustion, leading to carbon buildup on plugs.

Frequent Stop-and-Go Driving: City traffic causes the engine to idle and accelerate frequently, wearing out spark plugs sooner.

Oil Leaks: Older engines may leak oil into the combustion chamber, which fouls the plugs.

Recommendation:
Even if Mercedes recommends spark plug changes every 100,000 km in ideal conditions, in Pakistan its safer to replace them every 40,000 to 60,000 km, depending on usage. Regular inspection during servicing is a must.
