Thick o r old oil increases engine friction and heat. Are workshops using the recommended oil grade for Pakistani climate?

Bad o r old oil causes:

Higher internal friction, adding to engine heat.

Reduced heat transfer from pistons, leading to higher cylinder temps.

Workshops sometimes use non-recommended viscosity grades e.g., too thick 20W-50 instead of 5W-30.

➡️ Always use API SN-rated oil, with correct viscosity based on your regions climate.
