How does the fuel efficiency of the Hyundai Sonata compare in real-world Pakistani driving conditions?

Official fuel economy figures often differ from real-world performance. For those who own a Sonata in Pakistan, especially in urban traffic, what kind of fuel average are you getting? Is it economical enough for daily use?

In real-world driving conditions in Pakistan, the Hyundai Sonatas fuel average varies depending on traffic and driving style. Heres what most users report:

City driving e.g., Karachi, Lahore: 7–9 km/l

Highway driving: 12–14 km/l

These figures are decent for a 2.0L o r 2.5L D-segment sedan but still lower than smaller sedans o r hybrids. Compared to the Honda Accord especially hybrid versions, Sonata is less fuel-efficient, but its on par with the Toyota Camry non-hybrid and other naturally aspirated D-segment cars.

For daily urban commutes, fuel efficiency can be a concern for budget-conscious drivers, especially with rising fuel prices in Pakistan.
