How often should I check and top-up engine oil in my BMW 2 Series to avoid damage due to high oil consumption?

Given the oil consumption problem in my BMW 218i, how frequently should I check the oil level in Pakistani driving conditions? Is it safe to drive long distances without topping up oil regularly?

In Pakistani conditions with high temperatures and dust:

Check oil level at least once a week o r every 500 km to avoid running low.

Top up oil immediately if the level s below the minimum mark on the dipstick.

Avoid driving long distances without checking, as low oil can cause engine overheating and severe damage.

Follow BMW’s recommended oil change intervals usually every 10,000 to 15,000 km o r once a year with high-quality synthetic oil to minimize consumption and wear.
